Terms of Service

RankPin is a local-SEO tool for service businesses. It runs a free geo-grid audit that estimates where your business ranks in Google Maps across a city and shows the result as a heatmap. Paid plans add features such as AI-generated review replies, weekly Google Business Profile posts, and a monthly action plan. The rank data shown in your audit is sourced from third-party providers and reflects a sample at a point in time. It is an estimate, not an official measurement from Google.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a contract to use paid features. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

Paid plans are sold on a subscription basis, billed per location per month. Current plans are Starter at $29, Pro at $59, and Agency at $129 per location per month. Prices are shown at checkout and may change with notice for future billing periods.

Payments are processed by Polar, which acts as our merchant of record (reseller). This means Polar handles the transaction, invoicing, and applicable sales tax or VAT, and your purchase is also subject to Polar's terms presented at checkout. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, and your plan will remain active until the end of the current paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods. If a payment fails, we may suspend or downgrade paid features until payment is resolved.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, deceptive, or fraudulent purpose, or to violate the rights of others.
• Run audits for businesses you do not own or are not authorized to represent in a way that misleads, or submit data you have no right to submit.
• Generate, publish, or distribute content through the Service that is false, defamatory, spammy, or that violates the policies of Google or other platforms, including review and posting guidelines.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, probe, or disrupt the Service or attempt to bypass usage limits, rate limits, or security controls.
• Resell or provide the Service to third parties except under an Agency plan as intended.
• Misuse any connection to your Google Business Profile or use the Service in violation of Google's terms.

You are solely responsible for any AI-assisted content you choose to publish. We recommend you review such content before it goes live. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

We own the Service, including its software, design, and brand. You may use the Service only as permitted by these Terms. You retain ownership of the data and content you submit, and you grant us a limited license to process it to operate and improve the Service. Audit outputs and generated text are provided for your business use.

The Service, including all audit results and AI-generated content, is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We make no guarantee about search or map rankings. Local rankings depend on factors outside our control, including Google's own algorithms, your competitors, your business profile, reviews, and local conditions. Results vary, past performance does not predict future results, and nothing in the Service is a promise that your rankings will improve, that you will appear in any position, or that your traffic, calls, or revenue will increase.

Rank data is supplied by third-party providers and may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. RankPin is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RankPin and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service in any 12-month period will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in that period or fifty US dollars (USD 50). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limits may not apply to you, and nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

You agree to indemnify and hold RankPin harmless from claims, damages, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your published content, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if needed to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends, while sections that by their nature should survive (such as disclaimers, liability limits, and governing law) continue to apply.

We may update, add, or remove features, and we may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes to the Terms, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms and any dispute arising from them or from the Service are governed by the laws of Belgium and applicable European Union law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Belgium will have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts. Nothing in these Terms deprives you of any mandatory legal protection you are entitled to.
